    Our favorite recipes are Southern classics with a twist, but sometimes we like to lighten up and create recipes that make us feel good on the inside and out. This bright and refreshing Fresh Mint Cucumber Melon Detox Water is a healthy and tasty way to hydrate your body for glowing skin.

    The most important thing you can do for healthy skin is stay hydrated. Try to drink at least eight glasses of water per day. We all know that water alone can get a little boring, so why not make it tasty in a delicious + healthy way? Cucumber and watermelon are two of nature’s best ways to do this. Plus, cucumber helps flush out your body and skin’s toxins, to get through to a more beautiful you.

    Ingredients Needed:

    • Cucumber
    • Watermelon - I like to grab a seedless variety.
    • Fresh Mint Leaves
    • Lemons
    • Water
    • Ice

    TIP: This detox water idea is a great way to take advantage of fresh, summer produce, too. Infuse your water with refreshing flavor and increase your water intake to stay hydrated during the hot summer months.

    How to Make Cucumber Melon Detox Water:

    1. In a two-gallon pitcher, layer the cucumber slices, watermelon, mint leaves, and lemon slices.
    2. Add the juice of one lemon. Pour cold water over the top. Stir gently and refrigerate.
    3. Serve over crushed ice with fresh cucumber, melon, lemon or mint if desired.

    Ingredients
      

    • 1 cucumber thinly sliced
    • ½ mini personal-sized watermelon thinly sliced and chopped
    • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
    • 2 lemons thinly sliced
    • Juice of 1 lemon
    • Cold water

    Instructions
     

    • In a two-gallon pitcher, layer the cucumber slices, watermelon, mint leaves, and lemon slices.
    • Add the juice of one lemon. Pour cold water over the top. Stir gently and refrigerate.
    • Serve over crushed ice with fresh cucumber, melon, lemon or mint if desired.

    Notes

    Recipe can be divided for one gallon pitchers.
    Watermelon can be replaced with your favorite type of melon.
    For a little bubbly, mix the detox water with carbonated water.
    To get the most flavor out of the mint leaves, gently crush them in your hands before adding to the water.
