You are the coach making the game-winning drive. Or in this case, the party winning drive. Straight to Walmart to use their amazing Grocery Store Pick up. That’s right, we picked up Dr Pepper and all of our food items and never stepped foot out of our car.
Make your list online or from the Walmart Grocery app, reserve your pick up time, and show up. Yep, it is that easy.
All I did was check in on my app when I arrived and in less than 2 minutes, my car was loaded with groceries + goodies for my HomeGating Party. Life changing!

Repurpose items around your home to create a fun tablescape for your HomeGating party. Create fast + fun touches like these for a game day no one will forget.

Pretty sure championship level football parties don’t happen without a killer snack mix like this one.
Mix up all your favorite goodies for an addictive game day treat. We used sea salt popcorn, trail mix, chocolate candies and pretzels. What a starting line up. Pick your teams favorite colors for the candies, or keep it on neutral ground by using green, black, yellow and brown.

3rd + Short – Sticky Fingers BBQ Bites
It is about to get real in our College Football Playoff Party. Sticky Fingers BBQ Bites. Sweet, rich and tangy sauce made with Dr Pepper and other pantry basics make these smoked sausage bites the perfect party appetizer. Make a big batch, because you don’t want any fans to go hangry on ya’.

PLAY CALL: Toss this easy recipe into your crockpot hours before your College Football Playoff Party. Let them simmer to get the biggest BBQ flavor. Use your favorite sauce with Dr Pepper for added zip. Make them hot by adding sliced jalapenos.
4th + Goal – Dr Pepper Touchdown Float
This isn’t regular season. No punts allowed when the big Playoff Party is on the line. You are going for it.
Can we talk about this sweet, cold glass of amazing for a second? Cold + creamy cherry ice cream topped with our Playoff Party favorite Dr Pepper. Of course, you can’t stop there. Playoffs mean it is time to go big or go home, so top your float with whipped cream, cherries, chocolate and sprinkles.
This is the ultimate party float that the crowd will go crazy for.

PLAY CALL: Set up a build your own float bar with Dr Pepper, Cherry Dr Pepper plus several varieties of ice cream, toppings and sprinkles. That’s how you coach ’em up.

- 4 pounds beef smoked sausage
- 1 cup Dr Pepper
- 1 12 ounce bottle BBQ sauce
- 1 12 ounce bottle bottled chili sauce (tomato type)
- Dr Pepper any flavor
- Cherry ice cream
- Whipped Topping
- Chocolate Syrup
- Chocolate sprinkles
- Maraschino cherries
Slice the smoked sausage links into bite-sized pieces. In a large skillet, cook the sausage bites until they are slightly browned.
Transfer to a crockpot. Pour the Dr Pepper, BBQ sauce and chili sauce over the sausages. Stir to combine well.
Cook on low for 4 hours. Keep warm.
Add two or three scoops of cherry ice cream to a glass or mug. Pour Dr Pepper over the top. Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate sprinkles and maraschino cherries.
