I'm Buzzy. Don't take me too seriously, because I don't know how to do serious very well. I sometimes make introverts uncomfortable. And my hair is always a mess. Even when I meet a US Congressman (true story).
I love the feeling of serving up a great meal to my friends and family and then sitting around the table and eating, snorting with laughter, and toasting with the kids.
You know what really makes a great meal? Love. I don't care what you are cooking.. it tastes better when you have some love in there.
Love of food, love for the people you are cooking it for, love of the cocktail you're sipping while you cook... it doesn't matter as long as some love splashes in.
Some people think they can't cook. Some people don't like to cook. Some people don't like doing the dishes, but love to cook. (Guilty as charged on that last one!)
I want people to experience the joy of cooking something with love. This site is here to provide you with great recipes, a little humor, and inspiration that yes, life is busy, but a home-cooked dinner around the table is just what your family needs this week!
How can today's families have jobs, enjoy activities, stick to the budget, and spend quality family time around the table with meals we prepared?
Have a plan. Be somewhat flexible. Keep it simple. Do it with love.
All of our food is prepared in an ordinary kitchen, with ordinary tools and simple methods. And always with love.
