2teaspoonsdry BBQ rub spice mix more or less to taste
liquid smoke seasoningoptional, to taste
3 ½cupsBorden® Cheese Thick Cut Shreds
4cupscooked chickendiced or shredded
8 10-inch flour tortillas
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, BBQ sauce, chopped green onions and dry spice rub until well blended.
Next, fold in the Borden Thick Cut Shreds and chopped rotisserie chicken until well incorporated. Taste the mixture, taste, and reseason to preference. This is where you would add liquid smoke seasoning if you'd like. Use it sparingly.
Then lay a 10-inch flour tortilla onto a flat surface. Using a plastic spatula or back of a spoon, spread the cheese mixture evenly on the tortilla.
Using your hands and starting with the outer edge, tightly roll the tortilla into a “pinwheel”. Repeat until all of the mixture has been used.
Wrap each roll with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours up to overnight.
Before serving, unwrap the rolls. With a serrated knife, cut the rolls into ½ inch slices.
