Get your favorite farmhouse breakfast all in one sandwich. This breakfast sandwich is made with golden, toasted white bread, savory ham, ripe tomato, cheddar and egg.
Arrange the bread slices on baking sheet. Lightly spread half of the butter on both sides.
Layer the cheese slices on one piece of the bread. Toast the bread for 8 - 10 minutes until the bread is golden around the edges and the cheese is melted.
While the bread is toasting, heat ham in a skillet. When bread is finished, layer the ham slices on top of the cheese.
Top with tomato slices.
Cook the egg as desired (fried, scrambled) in the remaining butter in the same skillet you used for the ham. Carefully slide the egg on top of the sandwich.
Top with the other slice of bread. Slice the sandwich and serve.
