Your furry little ones (and big ones) are going to love you even more for these tasty and wholesome homemade dog treats. Made with three simple ingredients, these little biscuits are grain-free.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Very lightly spray a baking sheet.
Prepare the sweet potato by your desired cooking method (Boiling, roasting, or microwaving.) Remove the skin. Place the sweet potato into a bowl and mash with a fork to remove the big lumps.
Stir in the eggs and blend the mixture by hand until smooth.
Gradually incorporate the coconut flour, adding more as needed until the sweet potato dough comes together.
If the dough is too dry you can add a little water. Gather the dough into a dough and shape into a round disk.
Flour your working surface lightly with more of the coconut flour. Roll the dough with a dusted rolling pin into approximately ¼ inch thickness.
Using a cookie cutter, cut out desired shapes. Carefully place them on the baking sheet.
Continue to roll and cut out until the dough has all been used.
Bake for approximately 15 - 18 minutes until the bottoms are browned and edges are golden.
Remove and cool completely. Store cooled dog treats in a sealed container.
