Cook That

For the Fluffy Slime

  1. In a medium-sized plastic bowl, stir together the glue and water until smooth.

  2. Fold in the shaving cream and glitter until combined.

  3. Slowly stir in the dish soap.

  4. Quickly add the saline solution and stir quickly until the slime pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

  5. Gather the slime into your hands and knead for a minute or two until it firms up and no longer sticks to your hands.

For the Super-Stretchy Slime

  1. In a large-sized plastic bowl, stir together the glue, baking soda and water until smooth.

  2. Add the lotion, food coloring and glitter and stir until well combined.

  3. Slowly stir in the dish soap.

  4. Squirt in several squirts of saline solution and stir quickly.

  5. When the slime starts to come together and pull away from the sides of the bowl, gather it in your hands. This slime is much stickier and stretchier than the fluffy version.

  6. Pull and knead the slime like taffy, working in more saline solution as you go until it is the desired consistency.
