Bacon-Wrapped Cheese-Stuffed Hot Dogs
Win your next cook out with these cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped hot dogs.
- 12 Jumbo Beef Hot Dogs
- 24 slices bacon
- 12 slices pepper jack cheese
- 12 tablespoons BBQ sauce for basting
- Toothpicks to secure the bacon
- 12 Bakery hoagie buns or large hot dog buns
- 1 cup Grilled onion
- 1/2 cup Pickle relish
- 1 Fresh tomato chopped
For the Mustard Sauce
- 5 TB yellow mustard
- 4 TB BBQ sauce
- 1 1/2 TB Italian dressing
- 1 TB brown sugar
- 1 tsp Franks hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Slice each hot dog 3/4 of the way through, cutting lengthwise.
Cut the cheese into strips, and stuff each hot dog with cheese. Wrap with bacon, and secure with toothpicks.
Grill over medium high heat, turning frequently and basting with BBQ sauce. Cook until bacon is done.
Combine all mustard sauce ingredients. Serve with the hot dogs on warm buns along with grilled onions, pickle relish and fresh chopped tomato.
