Marble Dyed Easter Eggs

Ingredients

  • 2 dozen eggs hardboiled and cooled
  • Water
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1 can white shaving cream
  • Food coloring
  • Styrofoam bowls
  • Plastic spoons
  • Toothpicks
  • Paper towels a lot of them

Instructions

  • In a large pot, place eggs in the bottom. Cover with cold water, until eggs have 1 inch of water over them.
  • Place on stove, and over high heat bring to a boil. Once they have boiled for 1 minute, cover and remove from heat. Let sit 10 minutes.
  • Drain, and cool by running cold water over them.
  • Dip each egg into vinegar, set aide.
  • Place shaving cream in Styrofoam bowls. Add drops of desired food coloring to each bowl, and swirl with toothpick.
  • Gently roll egg around in the colored cream. Transfer carefully to a wire rack to dry 1 to 2 hours.
  • Wipe remaining cream off of eggs. That's it.
