Funfetti Cake Waffles

A fun + sweet treat for breakfast or dessert, our cake waffles are made with a shortcut cake mix and more pantry basics.

  • 2 cups boxed cake mix white or yellow
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 whole eggs beaten slightly
  • 1/3 cup funfetti sprinkles
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • Toppings syrup, butter, whipped cream, etc


  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, milk, beaten eggs and butter by hand. Stir until just blended. Lumps are ok.
  • Gently fold in the funfetti sprinkles.
  • Heat a waffle iron. Spray with butter flavored non stick spray. Fill waffle iron about 2/3 full. The amount will depend on the size of your waffle iron.
  • Close waffle iron and cook until the cake is cooked through and outside is golden brown. (Cooking time will vary on your waffle maker.)
  • Serve warm.
