Grilled Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs
Sweet and savory teriyaki meatballs made with 6 ingredients, featuring fresh pineapple and soy.

- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 3/4 cup Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade + Sauce plus 2 tablespoons
- 2/3 cup chopped pineapple divided
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
In a large bowl combine the ground beef, 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce, half of the pineapple, egg, bread crumbs and garlic. Using your hands, combine well.
Portion and roll into 1 inch meatballs. Cover and place in fridge for atleast 30 minutes.
Oil grill grate. Heat grill to 425 - 450. Grill the meatballs for 12 - 15 minutes, turning frequently to brown all sides well.
While the meatballs are grilling, combine 3/4 cup of teriyaki marinade and the remaining pineapple in a small sauce pan. Heat to medium, stirring and cooking until desired consistency.
Remove meatballs from grill, cover and let rest.
Drizzle lightly with the reduced pineapple and teriyaki. (The reduction will be intensely flavored.)
