Let's hear it for our Teachers! They put up with ALL of our children ALL day long. They wipe noses and reinforce manners and do all they can to put our kids on the right path. It takes a VERY special person to become a great teacher. We have put together this Back to School Teachers Gift for our special person - our oldest daughter. You see, she is an elementary school teacher, and we want her and all of the wonderful teachers out there to get their year off to a great start with this mini survival kit.
Back to School Teachers Gift
Let's all put ourselves in the shoes of a teacher for one minute. Use your imagination, thinking back to the days when you were in school. Remember how the kids behaved? (Or maybe how YOU behaved?)
I talked so fast and so consistently all day long. My teacher eventually moved me to a desk right beside hers facing the wall. I STILL managed to get in trouble for talking to myself.
This gift is for all those hard-working teachers out there, the educators that we have entrusted our "precious little angels" to. This includes our own angel, Melody, who is starting her second year of teaching. We are so proud of her, and want her to take care of herself with a few survival essentials.
The star of our teachers gift basket is Nature Made® Melatonin Adult Gummies and Nature Made® Vitamin C Chewable Tablets from Walmart.
Nature Made® Melatonin Adult Gummies are a great-tasting, easy way to help support sleep.† By providing 2.5 mg of melatonin, these supplements help your body reset its sleep/wake cycle†.
Nature Made® Vitamin C Tablets has a delicious orange flavor too! We all know that Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps support the body's immune system, but did you know it also aids with the absorption of iron?†
Add these two supplements to your daily routine to help support overall wellness and health!

And chocolate. Did I mention chocolate?
Putting this DIY together is SO EASY. We picked up the Nature Made® supplements and everything else for this project at our local Walmart. They had everything we needed just in time for back to school.
How to Make this Teachers Gift:
- Pour a little of each paint color into a paper plate.
- Place the wooden letters into another plate.
- Dab the sponge brush into the paint, and pounce it a couple of times on the plate to remove the excess paint.
- Pounce the paint onto the wooden letters in your chosen color.
- Let the letters dry completely.
- Carefully attach the letters to the outside of the crate or container using hot glue.
- Let the glue dry completely.
- Stuff your crate full of goodies for your favorite teacher.
- Decorate with ribbons, bows and finish off with a nice card.
Don't forget to put the most important back to school essential up front and center.
Be sure to include personal touches, too. We found the cutest binder clips at Walmart and couldn't resist. Anything that will keep that smile on teachers face! (It might save us some trouble later when the kids get home.)
